OF RIGHT-ANGLE WEAVE
Have you ever thought of doing right-angle weave with the emphasis on
the diagonal? Join NanC Meinhardt’s workshop and spend a day exploring
this idea as you create a beautiful lariat that really shows off this
variation. After you accomplish the basics, you will have the fun of
using triangle seed beads to further show off your new diagonal skill.
Design your own “slant” using as many colors as you desire to suit
your personality and then add long extravagant strands of fringe.
Supplies Needed:
1 tube
each of six colors of size 10 triangle beads. This necklace works
better if you choose some contrast between the colors of the
triangle beads.
1 tube
of size 11 seed beads
An
assortment of beads from 4mm to 8mm to use in the fringe. These
beads should be a variety of sizes and shapes, and all of these
choices should be color coordinated with the triangle beads. Pick
out a few beads for your fringe that have a "WOW"
effect.
