Workshop
One Thing Leads to Another
Skill level: All
levels
You are in for a surprise in this workshop. NanC Meinhardt promises to
teach you a new combination of off-loom bead weaving techniques resulting
in this suite of three necklaces which can be worn together, in any
combination or separately; the choice is yours. Each simple to accomplish
but effective technique leads to the next, allowing you to compose
coordinated variations to your heart’s content. NanC is truly excited to
offer this workshop.
Supplies Needed:
Please Note: All of your
choices should coordinate with each other.
-
2
strands of center-drilled Keshi pearls
-
2 tubes
of size 8° seed beads, one matte and one shiny that coordinate with each
other and with your Keshi pearls
-
1 tube
size 6° seed beads that go with your Keshi pearls
-
4
colors of size 11° seed beads that you can use for shading. Choose a mix
of matte and shiny. You will be using less than 1/2 tube of each.
-
2
colors of size 14° seed beads that you can also use for shading. You
will only be using a "small" amount of these.
-
Fresh
water pearls
-
17 or
more 4mm to 8mm beads needed for second necklace. These beads can be
pressed glass of various shapes and sizes and/or beads made by glass

One
large (larger than all the other beads you are using) focal point bead.
A large fresh water pearl or a coin pearl work well for the focal point
